ATTENDANCE POLICY / TRYING
FOR PE CREDIT
Whenever a player needs to ask for a day or part of a
day off, he or she needs to bring a note from their parent explaining why it is
important for their child to miss the practice or match. This note must signed
by both the player and the parent, and must be in the coaches’ hand at least
one day before the requested day, for review.
Of course there are a few instances that this can occur and if the
player is sick and does not attend school, then their yellow excuse slip will
serve this purpose. If a player is sick
from the school, it helps the coaches greatly to know this ASAP, so if possible
we would like a parent to notify us that the player will not be at practice or
a match and the following are the contacts to reach each coach:
HEAD COACH: SCOTT LONG: scott.long@centerville.k12.oh.us

For
the PE Credit opportunity, a player must attend 90% of all tennis
activities/days, learn all of the aspects of tennis taught through the season,
follow the rules of the game and the team, complete the season, and attend 2
classes of sports medicine training offered in the South Unit of the HS eight
to ten times each year. This boils down
to the payer not missing more than four days of tennis to be eligible.
