CHESTER, OH (Aug 21, 2013): Centerville 3, Lakota West 2.The Varsity Gold Girls' Tennis team was able to
defeat the firebirds in a hard fought match. The 2 doubles teams of Gina Roesch with Emily Sewall and Abby
Roesch with Brooke Flory
came off the court with the Elks first 2 points to take the match to 2-1. Next, in a third set final, Natalie
Fishman was able to secure the third point to give Centerville the win, 3-2. The Gold team is now 4-0 on the year.
KINGS MILLS, OH (Aug 19, 2013): Centerville 3, Kings 2. The team was able to
defeat Kings in the first round of the OTCA State Cup. This victory advances the Elk to the 2nd round vs Mason at home, Friday 8/23 at 4pm.
Victoria Mohr at singles, and Gina Roesch, Emily Sewall, Abby Roesch, and Brooke Flory at doubles scored the victories.

21, 2012)The Centerville Girls' Tennis Teams are on fire. Varsity Gold defeated Piqua 5-0 today while the JV also won
5-0. Lindsay Holcombe, Victoria Mohr, and Sabina Bashir
won at singles while Gina Roesch, Emily Sewall, Abby Roesch, and Lindsey Sewall teamed up at doubles. Gold is 3-1, Black 2-2, JV 4-0.
2011 RESULTS:
CENTERVILLE, OH (Oct. 1, 2011) The Centerville Girls' tennis Team is still on a row as they are
approaching OHSAA Tournament events. The team is currently 11 and 6 on
the year and captured the GWOC Central Championship last week. the Lady Elk went undefeated throughout
the Central Division and clinched the title by beating Wayne 5 to 0. Winning for the Elk at singles was
Lindsay Holcombe, Lindsey Sewall, and EileenTollefson while Jennisfer McDougall, Maddy Holyhaus,
Gina Roesch andNiki Nanavaty were victorious at doubles. The
team has made great strides throughout the year by improving on their 3rd place
finish one year ago. All of the singles and doubles teams will be playing
in the Dayton Division 1 OHSAA Sectionals Thursday Oct 6 at Centerville High School at 9am.
Northmont, Oh - (
September 20, 2011): The
Lady Elk Varsity Gold team once again is 4-0 in the Conference by sweeping Northmont 5-0. The singles girls dominated the
courts with Lindsay Holcombe (6-4,7-6) Lindsey Sewall (6-0, 6-1) and Eileen Tollefson (6-1, 6-0). At the same time, both of
our doubles teams were victorious with Niki Nanavaty and
Gina Roesch (6-4, 6-3) Maddie Holthaus and Jen McDougall (6-0, 6-2). Our next
battle is Oakwood at CHS on Thursday. Go Elks!
BEAVERCREEK, OH - (August 30, 2011): The
Lady Elk Tennis Team retains 1st place in GWOC by beating Beavercreek 3 to 2 yesterday. The ladies posted wins at
both doubles and 2nd singles. The team of Niki Nanavatywith
Gina Roesch won 1st doubles while Brooke Bressler and MaddyHolthaus won 2nd doubles. Lindsey Sewall was the singles winner. The team is 6 and 2 on the
year.
MIAMISBURG, OH - (August 29, 2011): The
girls' tennis team wipedMiamisburg off the court yesterday by a score of 5 to
0. All 7 Elk players won in straight 2-set victories. Lindsay
Holcombe, Lindsey Sewall, and EileenTollefson won at singles while Brooke Bressler,
Gina Roesch, Jennifer McDougall, and Maddy Holthaus won at doubles. The team is 5
and 2 on the season and travels to Beavercreek today for their first conference match.
CENTERVILLE, OH (Aug. 25, 2011): What a match; the Centerville Lady Elk (4
- 2) defeated Troy by a score of 3 to 2 tonight. The second
doubles duo of Gina Roesch and Nikki Nanavaty (6-1, 6-1) were first off the court with a quick two set win.
The Elks second point came from first doubles, Jennifer McDougall and Brooke Bressler (6-4, 3-6, 7-5). At this point
it was a hard fight between the other matches and Eileen Tollefson (6-1, 4-6, 7-6) came out on top at
third singles by winning the third set in a tiebreaker. Lindsay Holcombe
(6-3, 4-6, 2-6) had a tough 3 set loss at first singles and Lindsey Sewall (3-6, 2-6) went down in a two set match at second
singles. Next up for the Lady Elk: They will travel to Pickerington, Ohio 4 an eight team invitational on Saturday and
then battle the Vikings of Miamisburg, atMiamisburg on Monday and Beavercreek, at Beavercreek on Tuesday.

Varsity Gold Team (3 - 2) hostedXenia today and perfected a
victorious win (5 - 0). The single girls defeated them with Lindsay Holcombe (6
- 1), (6 - 4) Lindsey Sewall (6 - 1), (6 - 0) and
Eileen Tollefson (6 - 0), (6 - 0). While in doubles, Gina
Roesch and MaddieHolthaus both
crushed them (6 - 0) (6 - 0) along with Niki Navavaty and Jennifer McDougall winning (6 - 0), (6 -
0). On Thursday our next battle will be against Troy at CHS.

VANDALIA, OH - (August 18, 2011)The Lady Elk Varsity Gold Team (2-2) played their fourth season match
against Butler today. The Lady Elks were victorious
winning 3-2. Eileen Tollefson won
at 3rd singles with a
score of 6-1, 6-3, while Gina Roesch and Brooke Bressler won at first doubles with a score of
6-4, 6-1. Also victorious at doubles were Jennifer McDougall andMaddy Holthaus with
a tough 3 set match winning with a score of 4-6, 6-1, 6-4. Our 1st and 2nd singles fought hard, but ended in
losses. Lindsey Holcombes score was 3-6, 5-7 and Lindsey Sewalls score was 6-2,1-6,
6-6(1), 1-6. The Lady Elks played well and came out of the match on
top. The JV team defeated Butler 5 - 0 at home to improve their undefeated
record. Our next match will be Tuesday at home vs. Xenia. Good luck Lady
Elks!

CENTERVILLE, OH (Aug. 17, 2011): Today the Lady Elk Varsity team battled it
out in a tough dual match against the New Albany Eagles and the Pickerington
Central Tigers. Although they put up a good fight, the Lady Elk were overcome
by the Eagles during their first round of match play with 1S Lindsey Holcombe (
1-6, 0-6), 2S Lindsey Sewall( 3-6, 0-6), 3S EileenTollefson (
2-6, 1D Brooke Bressler / Niki Nanavaty (2-6, 1-6), and 2D MaddyHolthaus /Gina Roesch
(0-6, 5-7). Later, the Lady Elk took the courts again to play the Pickerington Central
Tigers but lost 0-5. Despite the score, the Lady Elk played hard and had great
matches today! Tomorrow the team facesButler at Helke Park at 3 pm.

LEBANON, OH (Aug. 16, 2011): The Lady Elk Varsity Gold Team (1 - 0) kicked
off their season today by sweeping Lebanon 5-0. The singles girls crushed them with Lindsay
Holcombe (6-3, 6-2) Lindsey Seawall (6-1, 6-3) and Eileen Tollefson (6-1, 6-2). While at the same time,
the doubles dominated with Brooke Bressler and Niki Nanavaty (6-3, 6-4) and Jennifer McDougall and
Gina Rosech (6-3, 6-0). Congratulations to all the
girls starting off the season with a great victory! We are currently 1-0.
Tomorrow we move on to the CHS duals playing New Albany and Pickerington Central. Good luck
ladies! The JV Team battled Lebanon at home also winning 5-0.

CENTERVILLE, OH (Sep. 20, 2010):The Varsity Gold (5 - 7) team netted another win yesterday over Miamisburg by a score of 5 to 0. Victorious at

HUBER HEIGHTS, OH (Oct. 13, 2009):The Varsity Gold (11-8, 5-0 GWOC) traveled
up to Cloud Park to finish their match with CJ (13-5).
The Elk came out on top by a score of 3 to 2. Both teams played their
District qualifying line-ups so all matches were a hard fought battle.
The Elk were victorious at both doubles, Voevodin and Ranich at 1 while Painter and Fishman played
2. Briana Kosins dominated
at the 2ndsingles position.
CENTERVILLE, OH (Oct. 13, 2009):The Varsity Black (7 - 11) defeated Springboro
3 to 2 under the lights of the stadium. The elk were lead by the two
doubles teams and 1st singles.
CENTERVILLE, OH (Oct. 12, 2009):The Varsity Gold (10-8, 5-0 GWOC) tennis team hosted Oakwood (19-2) yesterday in non-conference
action. Oakwood came into the match with 19 wins and only 1 loss, but
left the Centervillecourts with a 2nd loss handed
to them by our elk. The lady elks won the match by a score of 4 to 1
behind the singles play of Anastasia Voevodin, Elise Ranich, and BrianaKosins while Sloane Weed and Jamie Diaz
dominated in doubles. The team is currently ranked #8 in the latest State
Coaches' Poll and travels to Cloud Park to take on CJ afterschool
today while the Varsity Black is at home vs Springboro
at 4:15.

Notre Dame 5 to 0 in a rain delayed dual match. The Elks battled hard at
all five spots but were not able to come up with a win. AnastasiaVoevodin pushed
Andrea Wolf to three sets before coming up short. The Elk Gold take on Anderson Wed at the CHS courts at 10 am for the 1st round of the State Team
Championship.
